Knob Cutters – Giant – Joshua Roth

I recently bought a pair of Joshua Roth Giant Knob Cutters and I am glad I did. I already own a medium size pair of knob cutters so with the addition of these giant knob cutters, I will be ready for whatever needs cutting. The kind of pruning I do would be better described as Niwaki cloud pruning rather than formal bonsai. Generally speaking, a person is more likely to run into bigger knobs when working on larger stock as is more likely to happen with cloud pruning. Therefore, I am glad to have both sizes of cutters available to me. The giant cutters have more biting power with the long handles and I can reach further with them, which is helpful when reaching into the interior of a tree. I highly recommend this tool if you are working with material that is larger than table top bonsai.
